Sowing the seeds of Victorian homes.
Hancock Victorian Plantation (HVP) is Victoria’s largest private timber plantation company, with an estate covering 238,000 hectares.
Much of HVP’s wood is transformed into products Victorians use every day: trusses used to build our homes, recyclable packaging for our boxes, and the paper we write on.
For HVP, forestry is a long-term business and one that all Victorians can be proud of.
HVP is proud to be a supplier of the world’s ultimate renewable resource… Victorian wood.

HANDCRAFTED FROM VICTORIAN WOOD
Giving a second life to Victorian Wood
Crafting Victorian wood into lighting that will last a lifetime
Do you sometimes wonder where artists get their ideas from? Inspired by his work as a shipwright, Timber Technik’s owner Vaughan draws inspiration for his creations from the shapes of the sea and the ships that inhabit them.
Vaughan has over 18 years of experience as a luxury wooden yacht builder, an influence that is evident in the stunning furniture and lighting products he makes.
The timbers Vaughan uses for his products are sustainably sourced from Victoria’s forests. With their natural warmth, they are an obvious choice as main material for objects that light up our homes. Using steam bending, a common practice in boat building, Vaughan creates beautiful and sustainable timber products from his workshop in Geelong, Victoria.
